About the Role
The Guest Experience Coordinator helps create the first and last impression of Boss Up Braiding. We are seeking a warm, polished, solution-oriented professional who can deliver luxury-level hospitality, manage client communication, support booking and checkout, and keep the front of the salon welcoming and organized.
What You’ll Do
Greet guests warmly and guide them through the salon experience.
Check in clients, confirm services, and communicate timing updates.
Respond to calls, texts, and online booking inquiries through Vagaro.
Process payments, package retail purchases, and provide receipts.
Encourage rebooking and request feedback or Google reviews.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Recommend appropriate retail products and service add-ons.
Coordinate walk-ins, schedule changes, and client flow with management.
Track cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling confirmations.
Capture approved client photos and videos for marketing.
Share client preferences and feedback with the service team.
Compensation: Starting at $14 per hour.

Requirements
At least one year of customer-service, hospitality, or front-desk experience.
Beauty-industry experience or a strong interest in beauty is preferred.
Comfort using booking software; Vagaro experience is a plus.
Warm, professional communication and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced salon.
Ability to pass a background check.
